Feedback — the widget, tracking a request, and your dashboard

Once a project is live, aiKit gives visitors a direct way to react to it, gives whoever submitted feedback a real page to track its status, and gives you a full dashboard to decide how fast changes happen and work through every request across every project.

1

The feedback widget on your live site

Every published aiKit site shows a small floating "📍 Leave Feedback" button in the corner — no account or separate tool required for whoever's looking at your site. Tapping it opens a compact form: an optional name field, a required message field (placeholder: "e.g. Can you make this headline bigger?"), and a Submit button.

The moment it's sent, the form shows "Sent ✓ — lands in the owner's queue instantly" along with a "Track this request →" link the visitor can follow to check on it later without needing to ask you directly.

2

The tracking page whoever submitted it sees

That link opens a standalone status page showing the project name, the exact feedback message in quotes, who submitted it and when, and a status pill — Open (waiting for approval), In Progress, Awaiting your review, or Confirmed.

Once you've marked something fixed, the tracking page shows a prompt: "The owner says this is fixed. Take a look and let them know if it's right," with a "✓ Confirm this is fixed" button — the submitter closes the loop themselves rather than just taking your word for it. The full change log for that item is visible on this page too, so they can see exactly what happened and when.

Review First vs. Auto-Apply

Your Feedback dashboard opens with a single account-wide setting: "You decide how fast changes happen." Two modes, chosen with a toggle: "🔒 Review First," where new feedback waits in your queue until you approve it, and "⚡ Auto-Apply," where feedback starts as In Progress immediately with no approval step. Switching to Auto-Apply shows an explicit warning card: "Changes skip the approval step — worth it once you trust a project's feedback quality, not necessarily on day one."

Below the account-wide default, every one of your projects is listed individually with its own effective mode and a badge you can click to flip it — set a specific project to run differently from your account default, with a "reset" link to drop it back to following the default again.

Working through the feed

Every feedback item across every project lands in one feed, with five clickable stat filters at the top — All, Open, In Progress, Awaiting Review, Confirmed — each showing a live count; clicking one filters the list and shows a "Showing: [status] — Show all →" bar so you can always get back to everything.

Each item shows the project it came from, the message in quotes, who submitted it and when, and whether it came from a Review First or Auto-Apply project. An Open item shows a single "Approve" button. Once it's In Progress, a verification panel appears — you write a note describing what you actually checked (placeholder: "e.g. Confirmed live — headline is now 2x larger, checked on mobile and desktop") and click "Mark verified → awaiting client review," which moves it to Awaiting Review and surfaces your note plus a direct link to the submitter's tracking page. It becomes Confirmed once they click that confirm button themselves.

Every item has a collapsible "Change log" showing every step that's happened to it with who did it and when — a real audit trail, not just a current status.
